Please consider donating them. Not sure exactly where you are but maybe something like https://rrrcomputer.org/ ( i just googled bay area computer donation and picked the first just environmentally destroy it link, i'm sure there are more), I volunteered (need to do it again) at a place like this. It helps super low-income families have their own computer, yeah just about everyone has a smartphone but there are miles of difference between a proper computer and a smartphone.

Idk how well these computers would do. I think they need new hard drives

Yeah, these companies that do re-furbs handle all of that. If the hard drive works they wipe them (the one I worked at used a very secure method) if not they drill holes in them to make sure they are dead, then they refurbish the computers. We almost always added in more memory, a new hard drive (hard drive failure was one of the primary sources of donated computers), a fresh copy of windows (that is already updated), cleaned the hell out of them, sometimes new power cords (just depended), and then a copy of libre-office (free version of Word/Powerpoint/Excel). All the parts came from corporate sponsors or funds from cash donations, the workers were all almost all volunteers, so not much overhead.

The idea isn't to hand out gaming computers, it is so people can do things like have a computer to do job searching on, work on resumes, post 4lo memes, attend online classes, online banking, etc. The one I linked seems to also like to try and attempt kids to code, which is awesome imho, but still don't need a beast of a computer for it. Just can't do it via a phone.

Edit: Oh and you can write off the estimated value of your computer as a tax deduction. We normally gave them a receipt for the full functioning value of the laptop, not the non-working pile of plastic and parts they handed us.

Just rage on them like I did with an Apple keyboard this morning. I folded that bitch in half because the space bar was fucked.

I threw my last laptop which still worked in the burn pile.

And there it goes, the Toyota Sienna I put three months of my life into.

    The neighbor called the CHP.

My friend who owns it hit some hard times, and can’t afford to get it out of impound. That’s the last time we’ll ever see it.

That would be nice, but crowdfunding is banned on TW. I’ve seen people get into deep doodoo over that.

I was just helping the guy. I didn’t park it on the street. I offered to rent a U-Haul dolly for him and tow it to where he’s staying now, but he declined. He fixed the timing issue when I was away at school.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
When I was hunting down the part number for a new rack there was a listing for a manual 4x4 rack on Toyota’s parts list
