Have to say, I do love how much more consistent this table is compared to my last

 

Looks great, per usual! Ya, they look like material hogs, that’s gonna be a heavy package too… Might take some extra precautions to keep that box from self distrusting!

 

No obligations to buy the kit either - I wouldn't normally cut anything out unless we agreed on something, so worst case I keep them and have them set aside for whatever

Think that Timwelds guy has some good ideas from time to time and as much free shit as he's received, I'm surprised he doesn't own a CNC table

 

Send Cut Send might sponsor him and pay him not to… He mentions them enough to make me believe that anyways.

I find your pricing model to be quite reasonable, I’m sure it will work out! And I’ll probably want some extensions or a vice mount next

 

I love that TMW uses laser, so it's precise AF but man they do charge a hefty premium for stuff like their table extensions

 

Yup… I was willing to pay the premium on the table because of their assembly innovation, but I’m going local or to you for most anything else!

 

I don't know who you talked to when you called, but I spoke to Jon (one of the others, his brother is the other owner) and he was cool AF

I was able to see an Icon FJ45 at a gas station a few years ago.

A TLC restored OEM+ 80 series would be nice. I realize a modern Prado or LX would be safer as far as crash standards. But that’s about the only practical benefit imo. I wish TLC/Icon would use Toyota engines. But if I remember correctly it’s because Toyota won’t sell crate motors to them. Meanwhile they can get an LS with a warranty.

 

Yup, that’s who I got too. Dude talked to me for over 30 min, answered all my questions (got way more technical than I am capable of…) made some solid recommendations, and it’s super obvious he is really passionate about his business! Pretty cool that as busy as I’m sure he is that he’s willing to talk to customers like that!
