The lessons are for me

It should come back with a comeback to make it appropriate

 

When we had his first lesson, he did really good.

In fact as recent as earlier today, he's still doing the proper 1-2 in using his hands separately to go around the drums. This is a good break from his initial bad habit of hitting the drums with both sticks at the same time so he's already improving.

We all agreed that we'll wait until he's just after 3 years old before enrolling him in lessons, and for the meanwhile I'll learn the 'proper way' and have him follow me at home.

Best way kids learn (especially young ones) is from watching their parents.

 

He'll learn what not to do.
