Ha! That is my routine too. But I have to cut it off at 2:00pm or I can’t sleep…

 

I like another cup in the afternoon but man it messes up my sleep if it's too late. Sometimes I'll have decaf and there's a little bit of a placebo effect.

 

It’s pre workout so it gives you the itchy pre workout feeling

 

Coffee has never messed with my sleep, I think that is a side effect of ADHD though. I'm not at all hyper like the disorder suggests, in fact sleep is one of my super powers. Put me on a flat surface and I can nod off just about anywhere. Coffee just helps me focus for a little bit, need lots of caffeine and sugar together like a RedBull (still the best working energy drink IMO) to keep me awake a bit. I have to be careful about how late I take my ADHD meds though, they can keep me up, I can sleep through them but it is a good bit of extra work.

 

Ah okay, well unless I want to workout that seems like an awful thing to drink again... I workout at night so I certainly don't want one of those fuckers two hours before bed.

 

Cold water right after waking up

 

Is it just me or is a nice cold crispy seltzer like a drunk cig for a morning person.

I have this thing where room temp water angers me, so it's always gotta be ice cold. Waking up and going to the fridge to take a swig feels refreshing as hell so that's what I always aim for after getting up.

i think you might have a case of extreme caffeine tolerance lol. Might be time to upgrade to NoDoz by the handful

i like mine in the room temp range like some kind of sick freak

 

That’s the huge amount of niacin or vitamin b3 they put in preworkout to help with blood flow and energy. Shit makes your skin crawl literally

ty, gonna be trying low dose naltrexone which apparently works for cfs/fibro/general chronic pain and stuff in that vein so here’s to hoping it takes the edge off
