There nice and clean, and I cut off the useless parts of the metal solenoid bracket and repainted.



Now I just need to wait for the new/used solenoid to get here cause I fried this one testing it without noticing this nice sign on it...

 

The C&C’s in the HOA says nothing about an airplane. Hmmm.

 

I thibk this a3 needs a new coil pack and tune up

I'll pm info once I have it with pictures. I think it has like 120k on it, new factory turbo, fully loaded with/leather. It may be as simple as a loose radiator hose, I don't know yet. He came out to the car, coolant everywhere. Bought coolant, filled it up and again coolant level low after driving. Going to have him tow it to my place later this week. He's already bought a new car so this one is going asap. He was going to tow it to CarMax but I told him to bring it to me first.

I never understood why people go out of their way to piss off neighbors.

I’m friendly with all my neighbors, it’s the landlord who owns the house (who doesn’t live here) that doesn’t get along with us. Always meet someone new every few months since there’s always someone new moving in.

 

Neighbors are annoying.

 

I have to push the neck of the snorkel up a bit to get it to clear the door, so making sure it's held firmly in place with the supplied rivets is the route I'm going to take. Bouncing around off road and what not would have me worried about using 3M unless it's stronger than I'm thinking it is
