Mine got two new doors, one fender and a dry box from out west. I also replaced all three skid plates with new and replaced the rear axle housing and backing plates. I also binned the front spindles and backing plates. All new OEM Toyota parts.

I didn't have to replace the spindles, but a couple of bolts broke off and I had no time for sourcing used ones or dealing with broken bolts

The frame was done in late 2015

 

My unit is brand new as of a year ago. But ive almost run 80cf of gas through it. Built my sliders with it among some other smaller stuff. Little China Hobart has a nice Tig arc.

 

Brazings not the same. There’s braze welding too. But that’s still not gas welding

 

DC. Its the new model Stickmate 160i/ Miller Thunderbolt 160. Inverter based, I think the miller has a slightly longer duty cycle but 30% is good for me.

 

I’m still trying to find a clean bed. I want to fix mine. But cost might be more than just finding a clean rust free bed. I need one new bedside (previous body repair that I’m not happy with) and there’s a few holes in the bed

Yeah It does what I need it to. Got about $550 sitting in that photo. Will weld 3/8" no problemo. I prefer scratch tig for the constant amperage versus the standard foot pedal machines so all I needed was a DC stick welder and this fit the bill. China made but comes with Hobarts warranty and excellent customer support. Utilizes Miller parts that I can find at AirGas locally. Miller Tig torch uses readily available 26 series consumables. I bought everything I did based on whether or not I could find parts locally. Otherwise I wouldve went Everlast.
