It was pissing rain for a good four days. Good for us, cleared up the air and put out the Camp Fire.

 

You should see my Tacoma and 4Runner bins. I have like six 50 gallon bins full of parts leftover from my part selling days.

I also have two doors sitting in our library. Haha.

 

My name is Anthony. I am also a hoarder. There is a complete 4x4 drivetrain underneath those blankets minus a front driveshaft - yes I am serious including engine, trans & transfer case, and front and rear axles.

Trucks going under the knife for frame I believe on wendsday! What’s the cheapest shocks I can get for the time being, dealer won’t put a lift back in has to be stock apparently.

Gotcha, gonna check and see what can be done. If they after some positive re inforcement on my end let me put some 5100 on it so I can fix the rake when I get I back.

 

I don’t see why 5100’s with the stock coils would be an issue.

 

I still am in limbo on what to do about this fucking universal joints.

 

Just basically that. I’m gonna have the dealer change out ball joints upper and lower as well.

 

Order a power stop tundra kit and LCE lines

They’re very simple to change out.

 

I just need something to read about them. I don’t know what I need to order. I dont know if this is gonna throw my driveline out of balance

 

I would just bring it to a driveline shop if you’re not comfortable doing it. They can re-balance it while its there.

Come to think of it probably not many driveline shops in Maui.

Any capable shop or individual can do u-joints. Watch some YouTube videos on it.

Gonna go all spicer ? Spider gear and universal joint the same thing ? Is the carrier bearing good for all our trucks that’s listed for spicer in the sticky thread.

I’m more of a do brakes and other things kinda guy. I don’t have the tools or press to do the driveline anyway. So I have a guy in mind who did my clutch and did excellent work
