Everything’s waiting to be shipped to lce.
No one local to me will do the machine work. I have all the parts except pistons.
I even have a set of Camry cams that may end up in the engine

I’m thinking about getting a used 5vz to test the cams in. I can throw it in the truck and fire it up and see how it runs. If the factory ecu with the supercharger can handle the Camry cams they will end up in my built motor and I’ll likely get the rev limiter bumped up. (It can be done from what I’m told)

Or put the old engine together with new pistons and a used Camry crank (no new ones left because of me)

No one wants to do the machine work on the 5VZ? I wonder why. It's not like it's a Ferrari or Porsche engine. It's a very common block that Toyota made thousands of.

That's funny how the Camry has forged engine components. Did it even make enough power to justify that?

Biggest issue if the fact I’m using main studs that are larger than factory bolts. They need to drill and tap the main cap holes then line home the crank bearigs

Likely lose some low. But I’d have the power band up to 7000 rpm roughly

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Cars and coffee is fun and much more organized and if I'm being honest cannot compare to the fun of a ghetto meet like I was used to. It was just a huge Facebook convo of people from Spokane, like over 300. I'm moving back to WA next year unless I get some amazing job offer here. It would have to be really amazing to make me stay in this state.

Yup. The supercharger will make up for the lost bottom end power too.

Supercharger for now. But a turbo will be it’s future. All the parts I have I can safely run 1000hp if I wanted... everything is forged.

(At least according to the specs on said parts)
