    Why not just use s combination of super glue and duct tape and hope the metal stays together?
    Lot cheaper than a welder

    The only thing I would have done to that machine is remove the owners marks and put it to work.

    I think it needed a new gun, but yeah. The welder at my last job was disgusting, but worked fine.

    I didn't even know restoring welders was a thing. I mean people use welders to restore things but restore the welder? :p

    I could see it if it was old and like a piece of your shop's history or something but yeah the average run of the mill Miller, I still don't get it. As long as it works it's good.

    If anything, spray a coat of bright orange or yellow on it to provide better ID if its stolen. Thats what most rig welders around here due to their equipment. Nothing fancy though.
