    Nothing wrong with a first gen tundy, I'm not a fullsize truck guy really. I don't so much have use for a truck as a do a capable offroad vehicle. That's why I own a Tacoma, they aren't good trucks really, but they're great adventure rigs.

    If it werent for the fact that I wanted a 5 speed at the time, I wouldve considered it more. But now that I know driving a 5 speed in a stop and go commute sucks, I wish I wouldve thought about one of those, or a 4runner more.

    My point being the turd gen is about the same size as my tundra. But the tundra is just a better truck imho over a turd gen

    I miss my 5 speed but it sucked in Houston traffic. I should have been clearer, the 05-06 tundra has a 5 spd auto instead of the old 4spd auto

    Itchy already got a 3rd gen the other day, no idea if he kept his 1st gen... he seems more like a 3rd gen person anyway

    Do y'all have bum knees from playing high school football or something? I dealt with Seattle traffic (4th worst in the US) for 5 years or so with no complaints ever and my AC didnt even work haha. I completely tune out even doing clutch work

    Haha holy shit. That takes me back. I unsubscribed a number of years ago.

    Another favorite for me was DieselDucy. The man rode in and filmed elevators and that is his entire channel.

    Ooh your ac didn't work in SEATTLE. Bro my ac in my 5spd ranger didn't work for the 8 years I drove the truck in Houston. One of those summers being the hottest on record. And believe me the Houston traffic is legendary. That city is fucking sprawling. You just keep hitting traffic

    The amount of history I found in the glove box of my 5-lug was incredible. I was able to find out who the PO was from the papers in there. And the owner before him, and the owner before him. Back to the original purchaser who was an Engineering firm. (Who I am assuming is who installed the fifth wheel hitch)

    I found child support papers, divorce papers, bills, checks, parking tickets, the whole enchilada.

    Hasn't worked in AZ either haha. I've been in some Houston traffice before, we ended up taking surface streets more often than the highways because you could walk faster.

    It ended up in Illinois. I was told by the buyer that it was nearly a grand to ship.

    @Itchyfeet

    That’s it? From where?

    The cheapest quote I’ve gotten is $1,500. But that’s California to Indiana, I assume Illinois is closer to where you are.

    This guy was dumb enough to leave expired life insurance stuff in there. Social security, addresses, names of him and his wife were all in the paperwork.
