After getting everything unloaded from ride home and done making phone calls. I rolled out to the front driveway on my go-go elec. Scooter with the dog and garage door opener in hand. Open the garage door and gave the Taco a once over eyeball inspection. Sat back and took in the sights, sound and smells. While the dog ran around in the grass and kept climbing between my legs on the scooter floorboard wanting I ride. Spoiled little shit. Slowly everyone on my culdasac collected in my driveway to check on me and give me the contact info for every cell phone in there house and who carried it. (9 houses and over 25 cell numbers to call for anything I needed help with.) Athe group dissipated 4 hours later and darkness was growing.

A good neighbor texted me and told me I was looking strong. I responded:
Thank you. A big part of my strength is my support group. From my personal faith, Liz (wife) and Stephanie(step daughter) My parents, 5 siblings, over 200 cousins that have contacted me, Ruby and Bella (my side kick dog and the cat). Also my neighbors/friends and personal friends as far back as Cub Scouts. The Doctors at Mayo Clinic and my ability to accept and understand all that strength and support given and offered to me. Step up and build my strength on top of it.

The over the top showing of "love thy neighbor" from some neighbors I had never met before. Normally just a wave as they drove by and disappeared into a closing garage. I had 3 neighbor housholds like that. I only knew thier first names and children / family status. It felt and reminded me of neighborhood days when I was growing up 40 years ago. Back then it wasn't unusual for an impromptu BBQ or potluck dinner.

Sorry for the long winded, non truck related, deep personal thoughts about life and how it's treating me lately.

I added grab bars to bath tub the evening before my surgery.
    20181211_214935.jpg 20181211_214931.jpg

    Then this happened today.
When mom brought me home from rehab
I had to piss like a race horse and was twisting and toe tapping at the front door trying to get in. Rolled up in front of bathroom door and hopped to the toilet. (Wheelchair wont fit thru bathroom door.) Whipped it out and grabbed with my other hand for something to stabilize myself with..
The only thing there was, was a flimsy towel bar over the toilet. I almost fell over.
Duh!!!I forgot to put grab bars around the tiolet.
So then this hapened tonigjt. (Notice the switch to the elec scooter)
    20181211_212516.jpg

So tonight my wife Liz says I'm back in my element.

Neighbor chic swears she can cure phantom pains with Reiki. Free sessions at her house. Can't hurt to try. I have almost zero pain in my residual limb/stump. But having to take 10mg oxy every 4hours to dull severe pain in a leg thats not even there in the physical form. :annoyed::notsure:

I had 1 session. I found it very relaxing.

My wife get a session 2-3 times a year.

I just never have time to go.

This phantom pain is intense and seems to be getting worse.

Yes, I just don't know what. I'll try to do a better post later. Need to grab some sleep. Standby.

Tastefully done mini truck for show. There was a time in the early 2000's that I wanted to do this as well but I was going to ruin an S10.

it close to perfectly fine, its not pristine but has 100k less in miles than your 5 lug w a rebuilt engine. It needs a decent amount of work. Or can be used for parts
