But you think the sway bar would have saved you?

Yeah, no long standing regrets there. Was fun to do the whole rebuild thing and I came out ahead of schedule and under budget

If I took my 99 I’ll be doing it a favor, I don’t plan on it though.

    Cause everyone plans on rolling.

Oh yeah, I know I've had that convo with people, I'm just too old to remember who, lol...

I definitely notice a difference, in that I feel more body roll, but it's totally controllable. If I want to, like if I want to freak out my wife or something, I can make it shake with a quick whip of the steering wheel, but just driving normally, it's hardly noticeable.

You're crazy but I guess it depends where you live & how you drive. I drive in the city. No way I would drive here without the sway bar on stock front suspension.

I've got 600 lb springs now & while I do notice the body roll without the sway bar it's still better than when I was stock from what I remember.

Eh, I think about it more now. I think with what we do the possibility is always there. My rollover could have been avoided and it was entirely my own fault but I've since seen lots of flops and rolls that are just a result of doing what we do as well and not even doing it improperly.

It’s not bad st all, you get use to it.

It can catch you off guard sometimes though.

I like the way it rides and handles way better than the way my 02 does with a sway bar.

I don't believe so, the 881s are ~1.5" lift. I think even the 880's are like 0.5" lift..

Yeah I'm not sure of the actual spring rate, but 881's are longer then stock springs by a fair margin

My 880 yielded 1.5" maybe slightly less on my 4cyl ex. cab. Its a 500 pound coil.

He (Ryan) was talking about spring rate. We were saying we don't recommend taking off the sway bar for a daily driver without a higher spring rate.

Sure, if you throw too stiff of a spring on, it won't body roll as much, but it will also generally ride like shit.

So don't try to prevent body roll with stiffer springs. Get better shocks, or leave the sway bar on.

Actually no I wasn't. See my above post. You shouldn't be trying to prevent body roll with stiffer springs...

Looks like ChrisFix is putting a parts store transmission in his drift car according to his Instagram. Looking forward to the 2nd tranny replacement video in a few weeks/months.

I think you missing what we were saying. None of us were saying to get stiffer springs to prevent body roll.

Yeah, I couldn't remember the exact lift, but it varies by truck too. But yeah, I think all the OME coils are at least 500#
