Hate people like that. Massive respect to the retail workers out there who have to put up with difficult people all day.

Vicente wanted me to go pick up his packages so they won’t get stolen, I think it was just an excuse for me to look at his new Subaru. I love that color.

@koditten You ever work with shop dust collectors? I’m trying to find a good system to tie my sandblast cabinet and drill press together. Right now I have a Home Depot cyclonic dust separator and a Rigid shop vac.

Maybe, it’s AWD. No way his parents would remotely let that car leave pavement though. It has like 36 miles on it.

If your using your drill press for metal, forget about it. The shavings will wreak havoc on anything other than a broom and dustpan.

It's amazing how easy and fast you can cut a car into pieces with a saw zall. No title needed.

You are just trying to reduce the dust so you can see what you are blasting and recylce the media for as long as you can, correct?

Honestly, until you get to the size of booth that can hold an engine block, you are already doing about the best you can do. The cyclonic dust/media separators are almost as big as the blast hoods. Not many can afford to give up that kind of shop space.

If you have a way to vent the shop vac out side, do that. Attach another hose to the discharge and run it out the door. Take the filter out of the vacuum for the best function.

Leave the drill press out of the equation. Broom or magnet up the drilling debris is the easiest.
