It's only considered a major job because it deals with the transmission. But it's hard to fuck anything up. If you have the equipment to lift and move it it's pretty easy. Hardest part is finding a trusty machine shop to surface grind your flywheel and on Yotas the flywheel bolts are TTY so you need replacements on hand. But other than that it's all just bolts. Pilot bearing change is even pretty easy.

Truth! My wife's face after doing donuts in the snow was priceless, then to get her to go over a small rock section was also as priceless.

 ahh the california bashing hahah you guys kill me. I do love this state but someone's asshole is definitely running it. And its not a smart one, its more like...FADA5887-74D2-4E46-84F1-CB776415F10A.jpg

Yeah mine is softer than I like overall but the friction zone was in the right place at least. Yours had the right oeddal pressure for the last 1cm of travel that actually moves the clutch haha. You put ours together and it might make the perfect clutch. I like that I can full on drop mine at any RPM and it holds hard tho. Dan can now tell you that haha, i bang shifted 1-4 at 5k with him in it. The Z I am going for extreme pedal pressure, with the 1400lb disc and 6 puck...

So the PWM is working I wonder if you have one or two stuck injectors, your shop have a gas analyzer, you could do one bank vs the others

I hope to hell the injectors are good. They’re 6 brand new ones lol.

And I’m not at the shop right now. I don’t believe it’s gas related

Anyone know if there is a groupbuy for batteries going on or coming up. I want to put a fresh Group 35 in the Z and fresh group 27 in the cruiser. And the taco already has a great AGM battery so it's probably find for the next person. Hopefully the GBs aren't for Optimas (never buying those or a common wet cell again)

Well, I’m swapping my Maf onto this runner and putting a new a/f in.. see if anything changes. Past that I’m warranting the damn injectors and I’ll throw a new regulator on for good measure, lol (I won’t charge the guy for the labor. I’m too nice. Lol)

I know, they used to be Odyssey. The taco has one of those DieHard Platinums that was a rebranded Odyssey actually haha. Still throwing out 730cca (down from 770) last time it was tested and it's 4 years old now. I would like a NorthStar or an Odyssey. Much better than having the cheapo wet cell garbage that can leak and make your terminals or your battery tray nasty. Plus wet cells freeze and dont like heat, they're just trash.

I had the platinum in my taco. Now it’s in my Avalon. Keeps ticking 5 years later.
My optima it replaced was 11 years old lol
