Damn bruh, so far so good. Nice. Not sure on rpm at idle for the V6, I think my 4 idles around 650 or 7 when at temp.

Are you warmed up all the way? Doesn't look like it in the temp gauge but that might be the spot needle rides when at temp. Rpm should drop as it warms up more

That's the ideal warmed up idle for a Tacoma, my cruiser is low because it's old and doesn't know that it needs to recenter it's IAC, and I have a vacuum leak that I had trouble finding he right hose for.

650-750 the manual says 650 +/-100rpm in drive it's a bit less from the drag of the auto. With the A/C on it's supposed to just to 900RPM but I cranked the little valve on mine a click or two to jump to 1100rpm cause PHX heat demands more fan speed.

I think there is an OEM fan you can throw in front of the condensor too. Maybe an OEM Cruiser one as well as OEM Toyota from a different model. Supposed to help big time in your climate. They came on the 80s over in the Middle East.

So it's safe to say that the idle RPM would come down as the engine moved closer to its operating temperature?

There is, I almost bought one. But decided to get creative and tap the pressure switch for the AC system to trigger this 2nd gen 4Runner condenser fan that I got from a junkyard for $10. The OEM cruiser one isn't stateside so to get it from Japan was well over $200. I just made some brackets and my little circuit and all was good...

I also have the upgraded blue flan clutch too. This thing has never gone above 195° in PHX heat, the AC just needs the little extra kick
