I’m religious about torquing everything, but I’ve never done my wheels. I am sure most shops don’t bother either.

I looked at @Sperrunner like crazy when he started torquing the lug nuts on my wheel.

I’ve only ever torqued my center bearing

Ok so to follow up on this, here’s what I did

So first I removed yellow and green. Sat low but was too soft.

Then I put back in the yellow, and took out the black

Right now I have green and black removed. Sits nice, very flexy, and still soft. I might change it again if it softens out more.

I torque everything that I can find a spec for. Stripping a bolt in aluminum threads is no fun, or stripping any bolt for that matter. Call me old fashioned, but I have the proper tool, may aswell use it.

Really the only thing I don’t torque are wheels, or like trim. I’m not torquing the lower dash trim everytime I do electrical work just because it has a torque spec.

Yeah nothing in the interior. Just tight with a normal 8" ratchet is fine.

You may hate your taco but I love it, and that low ride heighth looks great. Not too soft?

I'll torque most everything else especially anything suspension related, ball joints, cv axle nut, leaf spring bolts definitely since they act funky when not torqued proper. But lugs...I dunno just never have. Tighten them up then go around once more for good measure

Heading up to Big Bear on Tuesday with my wife and her dad...in my access cab. Gonna be cozy..he's 6'3 but luckily she's tiny. Gonna have to make the jump seats as comfortable as possible somehow.

Really wish they had offered the double cab 1st gens with a manual trans...not sure why they screwed us on that

Second this, I finally broke down and bought both size Tech Angle torque wrench becasue I was tired of dealing with torque wrenches that need recalibration. It's an important tool use it people
