    400 grit to 2000 grit is what i did. then clear coat with plastic rated and UV resistant clear coat. then i polished to remove the minimal orange peal

    twin turbos and awd were fun in the snow

    I only have up to 1500 grit :( but the compound i used with a buffer really made it shine than i waxed them

    if you dont clear it will look bad in a month or so. thats the only advise i can give. clear might be fine with 1500. im just a nut case sooo i went 2000

    I’ve done that job before. Just make sure the surface is prepped properly and shoot several coats of clear.
