Considering my roommate blew his engine four times I don’t think I’ll be getting a Subaru anytime soon.

I’m sure I’ve posted it before, but here’s one of his forged pistons from his WRX.

I don't blame you, wouldn't be much fun knowing you had to pay off something that's damaged. And I can't imagine the bank would be very happy about you damaging their truck in the event they had to reclaim it

yeah it hurts a bit and in hindsight, I would have done things a bit differently knowing what I know now (especially in dealing with the shiesty fucking snake of a finance guy at Toyota)...but it what it is, at the end of the day it's only money and I'll make more. The fun and memories I've made with this truck are more than worth it, as is all I've learned about working on it.

Houses are different for sure, that's a solid asset and if you play your cards right can be a great investment, too.

Arguably the worst debt I've taken on was my student load debt....and my wedding debt, lol. At least I've got good credit from all of it :drunk:

Hopefully next year I can start making some real money after I graduate, Ill get that debt paid off a lot quicker than planned. No student debt, not even a credit card in my name yet.

Reason I was at the Subaru dealer is because Vicente wanted me to come along for some reason. He was getting some kind of paint protection on his brand new Crosstrek.

I couldn’t stop thinking about this scene when he first told me that he was getting “paint coating”.

Im gonna watch my friends ruin themselves financially this summer. Sad to say, but one has to move out and the other just wants to get away from his family. They wanted to get me in on it, at first I said yes, but I gave it some thought and came back with a big nope. I like my garage too much, and I like buying toys to put in it. Spending my life savings on a place to sleep is by no means "cool" to me, especially when my parents dont mind me staying home at all.

I wish I could’ve stayed at home my whole college career, but my program wouldn’t let it happen. Woulda been great both financially and recreationally.

I will say though, moving out has made getting along with my parents much easier.

Funny how colleges do that. My community college has 2 campuses. Figures my courses are all at the farther away campus.

My friend collects all the old christmas trees on his road, invites the neighbors and burns Christmas every year, unless its too dry.
