i wash my cars with my pressure washer.. never had an issue.

 

Thanks! I bought the wrinkle coat but I'm contemplating not putting it on because I didn't think I'd do this nice of a job with the color coat.

 

how did you know i was a JR?

 

I dont wash my own truck. I just wait 6 months and have it detailed

I spent alot of money to have my bumper powder coated wrinkle black. Looking back at it now, I should of used bed liner
Though the finish was super nice

No but seriously, red wrinkle looks good. I used to have this valve cover on one of my heads.

 

Do you do the Italian tune up also?

 

That is a very good looking cover. I really love red wrinkle coat. But it is a good deal harder to keep clean

 

Yep that is true. I was anal & used to wash my engine bay every 2-3 weeks. With mild engine degreaser it kept the valve cover looking nice a new.

Don't know who came up with the idea but the theory is people would take their cars on a track or whatever & run them hard for a period of time. Get them hot & run at high RPMs to help break down built up carbon deposits. They say Italians do this to their super cars cause they usually don't get driven much or hard like they should be. Well something like that.

 

Just a hard drive at high rpm, does help clean it out a bit but I think it helped more in the days of muffler restrictors and carburetors

 

They dont get driven hard because they to busy picking up chicks in their ferrari.
Everyone knows you dont buy a ferrari to drive fast.
