Probably be better to open up a new credit card with no interest for the first 12 - 18 months, then pay it off before interest kicks in

Thats what the wife and I did for our wedding (are doing I should say)

 

I got 2 credit cards one for work and the other is personal. I don't want anymore

Eh debatable. But sure. I can pay a $3k bill off in 4 months comfortably. Hard part is saving for it. Cause I help my parents out a fair bit cause my mom can't work due to some weird medical issue. No idea what's wrong with her, and my dad is on short term medical leave for right now from surgery.

 

Advantage to the credit card route, if you open up a good one you get travel points, cash back bonus, good credit score, etc.

Either way it's not a good idea for truck parts that are likely to lead to more expensive repairs/upgrades lol.

 

But truck parts are cheaper than drugs in the long run and more fun and healthier
