1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I ran a heater all spring and most summer nights, nice to go to bed/ wake up in a warm place.

 

had a couple battery powered lights going and some candles. Listened to some coyotes on the other side of the slough..it was nice.

 

Turn the stove on to make coffee in the morning and it'll warm up the pop up

 

Meh, I only drink coffee when I gotta work up at like 3 in the morning.

Usually it’s just get up, change clothes and go

 

Oh I drink it, just not every day.

Don’t have a coffe maker at my house and I’m too lazy to perc every day

 

Do you ever go hammock camping

 

Nah, hipster/millennial shit right there.

 

It’s so comfy tho

 

Gonna maybe look at some Tacoma bucket seats. Are all head rests interchangeable ?

Oh I've got tents and and bivy's. And this camper I got a deal on..the camper makes a great base camp for other activities.

If I was backpacking I’d take a hammock, if I couldn’t take my camper I’d take a wall tent, if I couldn’t take a wall tent I’d settle for a tent tent.

Most my “camping” is done for extented periods of time(2ish months in the spring, pretty much every weekend in the summer, and then quite a bit in the fall), it’s a hassle to set up and down every time, so I just leave it up.


Considering pulling my camper up the mountain next time I’m home, save me a lot of fuel.

It’s Western Terminus is on E. Castro Valley Boulevard. The Eastern Terminus is on the Camino Tassajara.
