I’m trying to replace a damn set. One broke. But the other didn’t. The rust is so bad I can’t get it to break free. Might just cut it at this point. The 4th gens are mounted outboard and so much easier

Be careful I've now seen two shocks that ran fluid through the shaft. Maybe use a reciprocating saw

It’s just a solid piece. The ones with fluid are usually on chevys. At least ones I’ve see.
The other one broke where I’m going to cut. So I’m safe lol

Yep, Im not really actively trying to sell it. I can help facilitate a sale, ie get a buyer to talk to my sister in law, but its in Yuba City, I live in San Diego, plus its pretty beat. Last word I got was it was gonna get smogged and got a new battery. Apparently the inside was cleaned. But as a salesperson, I never like selling something I am not 100% on. Im a rare honest salesman, as I hate most salesman.

No way...881s are only rated at 500lbs. You need 883s (590#) for that, minimum...since you're double cab 4x4 v6 you might even need more than that. ARB bumpers are heavy

Finally got that stupid pressure pot working. Turns out the hose was clogged.

It is way more efficient than siphon media blasting. Unfortunately, the kind of people this pressure pot system was made for would have a three phase dual stage 150 gallon compressor with just mountains of CFM and endless air.

Between clearing the nozzle of clogs and my compressor catching up to the demand, I’m going back to siphon.

I’m glad I kept the rubber gasket from my old PreRunner transmission shifter console. Makes a great vacuum gasket.

I would go with 883s still. It says on Headstrongs website that the 880s - 882s are intended for stock front end weight, 883s are for bumper and winch weight

Anyone like @BartMaster1234 check my work please - I'm trying to factor the original expression. Test case isn't working out. Must have made a mistake but I've come up with the same answer twice - appreciated.
