Do I have to swap my 5-lug v6 manual drivetrain into the PreRunner to prove a point?

    LOL

    Of course I do!

That was the first thing I tested. No dirt around me in the suburbs so this was the next best thing

Honest to god if it had less mileage I would’ve swapped it all in an instant. I just can’t trust a drivetrain with that many miles in my truck.

I would’ve made a nice desk out of the cab and a trailer out of the rear.

Starting in 1st is the only really tough part, everything else is just push in, change gear, let out. Gets harder if your racing or driving aggressively but you learn fast

Thats the most difficult gear lol you need to put seats in that thing so you can get better at it n just spend a weekend driving it around. Its really not too bad. Just stay outa sf till ya got it down.

I drove it for a while before I left and went all the way up to 3rd. Is the engine supposed to cut out if you don’t shift to a high gear when you get up to speed? Happened all the time. I would coast to the side of the road and restart the truck.

It was pretty fucking funny driving it around with my friend. The seats weren’t bolted down and the entire interior was in the back seat. When you turn the seats would come out of the cab floor and you’d almost fall out.

The looks we got driving that thing around without a bed. I haven’t had the balls to drive it out of my neighborhood yet, since the only way out is a steep bridge.
