He may have done better actually

Was climbing a gatekeeper to a local trail I've done 10000 times before without issue, but with all the rain we've had lately the ruts were way deep. Was off camber and fell into a rut, 4lo'ed myself right into a wall of dirt on the drivers side

Tied down these massive doors that weigh at least 150-200 a piece so they don’t fall on someone. Completely solid tropical hardwood all the way through.

I had some leftover deck cleats from my failed endeavor as Harbourmaster.

Spent the weekend removing the pressure pot from the blast cabinet, grinding the welds, filling the grooves with body filler, and mounting it. Added an Eastwood dust collector in its place.

Bummer, it happens though and it's always the thing you'd least expect to trip you up. Hope your new fender fits up right, my grey truck has a replacement fender and it looks good.

    Still won't

If I get my new fender on this weekend I'm headed back to that trail for my revenge. Was completely avoidable but I was too lax about the conditions and paid the price

Yeah it was a wake up call for sure...Ive had minor trail damage happen but never anything like this, though even this wasn't all that bad really. Just pretty bad cosmetic damage. Paid about $225 for everything I should need to fix it up by next weekend assuming the fender fits ok, not too bad

I spent so long looking at aftermarket fenders yesterday I can't remember which I finally went with off the top of my head lol. I'm pretty sure they're all made in the same factory and then just rebranded when they get here.

This is the eBay listing I ordered mine from, the seller has sold a lot of them so I went with it.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fender-For...3?pageci=f0d05684-83a7-4f6c-b50d-0e12e8e4ff81

If it doesn't work out I've found a couple used OEM leads on car-part.com

@Jamesboy2233 you should order yours off of Rockauto and get a CAPA certified one...they're only $38. I was going to do that but they won't ship to CA right now because of the stupid prop 65 thing
