I bought one off Amazon for the 5-Lug and it’s been holding up great. Feels way more durable than the aftermarket handle that broke on that truck.

I’ve only been through 2 aftermarket handles, bought a oem drivers side for the 99.

Passenger side just broke a couple weeks ago and no one really rides with me so I’m not in to big of a hurry to fix it.

If I really draw one up it’ll really just before the class, having an aluminum or something option would be neat too though.

All this talk of door handles makes me feel uneasy...I hate doing that shit, taking the door apart and having to work inside that tiny ass area to unbolt / bolt in the new ones

That’s good money if you can find a way to manufacture them.

Ahh it’s not that bad. I’ve taken that door panel off more times than I can imagine.

Although taking the rod with the flare clip from the handle is nearly impossible. I’ve either broken it out of anger, or yanked on it as hard as I can.

my hands don't fit in that tiny space very well. What did help me was getting a small swivel head socket wrench for the 10mm though

I’d pay $$$ for real metal door handles.

Guess I'm lucky. I've only replaced my driver's door handle once. My original one didn't really break like how it does for others. I pulled on it too hard one day when I thought the door was unlocked. It bent the metal arm. I bent the arm back & it worked fine but was stiff. I lived like that for a year before finally replacing it with an OEM one. That was like 2 yrs ago.

I'm the same with all my shit. Buy once, cry once. I would rather spend more and enjoy it vs going cheap and spending weeks/months trying to piece together something I could have just bought in the first place. Quality isn't cheap and cheap isn't quality.

Least it's one for hiking trails or what have you. And not a all pavement one where he thinks he needs a whole lane. and piss off those behind him to the point where they visualize running him over.
