Yeah saw that! While awesome, more than I want to do. I'm budgeting around $2k for the 4x4 and rear e-locker swap, $5k for the turbo build out, $4k for general upgrades (sound proofing, speakers, new seats, tundra brakes, OME suspension, etc.)/deferred maintenance. That being said probably can't make any headway other than fixing deferred maintenance stuff in 2019.

4x4 is more fun than 2wd LT....in my humble opinion

    4x4 LT even more fun

My idea of fun is going places most haven't seen and couldn't if they wanted to in their everyday rides....LT is fun because you can go balls to the wall on 2wd friendly trails but a well used LT rig is a perpetual money pit I shudder to think about. If I could afford both I would

Why? Both TRD and Magnuson both have CARB certifications, the only bitch is the 7th injector.

True but my truck is a manageable money pit. Using a LT truck the way you built it to be used is a money pit I could not afford lol

I think at that point it isnt a daily anymore. So its kinda different. But a LT truck is just as costly as a SAS truck

Yeah the 7th isn't CARB unfortunately...but I've gotten away with it so far.

But yeah there aren't any CARB certified turbo kits for our trucks to my knowledge

I've heard the emissions guys on the bases are relatively mod friendly.

I have to get the STAR smog test this year which might be bad news for me since they are even more strict than the regular smog check...but I have a couple leads on workarounds for that
