I don't know. You certainly know better than any of us because its YOUR truck and you are right there working on it but I'm going to guess that it being submerged is playing a role. I wonder how that impacted rack bushings, rack, hell - everything. Unless you've replaced all of your suspension components...

Everything I have done with this truck has been OEM for the most part. That's just me though. We've all seen the debates about 555 vs OEM vs Moog vs cheap imitation part. Not going there at all - only thought would be perhaps one of the parts you replaced with were not completely up to spec. Not trying to give you grief at all bud but an alignment shouldn't go bad 2 days later, unless it was a crap alignment to begin with. :notsure:

Can’t just leave one or the other thing unless you do custom wiring. It’s either all or nothing.

Friend of mine saw the KO2’s you gave me and was like “What the hell were you driving on, a cheese grater?”

If you truly do want manual components, it’s all bolt on. All door components and door cards across the entire generation are compatible. Only issue I can think of is using 1995-2000 door cards versus 2001-2004 door cards due to the speaker size. I’m using 2004 Double Cab door components in my truck and I had to cut some shroud out of the door card to fit my round speakers.

well, like Ryan mentioned, perhaps the lower cost tech just was lazy and didn't do his job? IDK. My experience with alignment and trust me, I've learned the hard way - it not easy finding a reliable tech. hell, that goes with anytime you outsource work. I've taken the truck into Toyota and they claimed the alignment was the best it could get because of my suspension lift. They basically had me driving around with backwards shopping cart wheels. Took it into another shop - ended up paying nearly double what toyota charged me and they were nothing but pros the entire time. From customer service to actually doing the job right. Even with stock UCAs, everything was put into the green and no rubbing at all, even at full lock (that was with the 265/75 KO2s).

So I guess it all depends on the shop in terms of quality. If they are going to do the work right, that alignment should be fine unless you hit a boulder head on :goingcrazy:

In the end though, cost isn't a factor. Its all about the shop.

I stand by my statement. How else are you supposed to know the orientation if you didn't explicitly know that knowledge beforehand?

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Lay down painters tape, push on it to make the impression, then follow the edges with a super sharp exacto. Like brand new sharp
