Haha man. Apple started that trend. All their stuff says “Designed in California” and “Assembled in China” in smaller print.

Soooo many other wannabe Apple ripoff companies copied that.

Don’t look at me. GM cheaped out and discontinued them in the early 90’s. Now Delco-Remy doesn’t even make horns anymore, only Alternators and Starters.

I have this old Milwaukee drill from the 90’s that was great. Only reason I stopped using it was because the battery finally gave out.

I bought a DeWalt set and the drill keeps coming off the clutch, and the hammer drill is already squealing.

Found out Milwaukee still makes the battery for that 25 year old drill. Saw it at Home Depot the day after I bought the DeWalt set.

The dewalt stuff we have at work is garbage. Started smoking a lot last time I used it, and the chucks slip like its their job. The 12 volt stuff isnt as bad, but Ill reach for the m18 fuel first if I can.

JKO is correct. I’m hanging the rack from two holes in the punched Angle Iron for the garage opener.

The angle iron can handle that weight fine, issue here is shear load on the hole. That angle iron was never designed to have a concentrated downward load that’s not a bolt.

Plan for v2 is four pulleys, metal guy wire, and a winch to pull a rack made of square tubing with punched angle iron attached to hang things from. All hung from Unistrut with several 4” lag bolts from the ceiling joists.
