Well first of all it doesn't just bolt in. The speedo cable should be similar and work. You need a V6 cluster for the square wave to drive the tach right, you'll have to wire the harness by hand but most of it will transfer over and work after you match the wires, you'll need the oil pressure sender from a 3VZE (dummy light sender from the 5vz is different but still required for the oil light), gas tank sender is different entirely, you'll need a gauge sender from a 3VZE for the temp gauge. It's work, it's totoally doable, hence why it works to hook a 3.4 engine and ecu to the old cluster in an old pickup, but theres nothing plug and play about it

Yeah, you might be missing some lights on the cluster too, and I don't remember if the speedo output from the cluster to the ECU needs a translator or not to be accurate

I will laugh and be sad all at the same time if the Bronco comes out looking like a glorified Ford Flex.

We need a new suv with a removable top other then a jeep. The bronco could be that suv but I doubt it will be

I think it would be really cool for enthusiasts if it was a two door, but it's almost a guarantee that it won't be, two doors don't sell

I'm pretty sure it will be. It was confirmed recently that it will have removable doors and roof. Supposed to be based on the Ranger platform and be part of a new “’family’ of rugged off-road vehicles”

    https://jalopnik.com/2020-ford-bronco-will-have-removable-top-and-doors-and-1833540489

I'm excited to see what they bring to the table.

Everything I've read so far, which is not much, implies it will be built on the same platform as the new Ranger.

I'm hopeful but I have my doubts. Ford could may an really amazing new vehicle that is so good I'd consider selling my Taco or a turd sandwich on wheels. Never know with a company like Ford. Every once a decade or two they'll surprise ya.

They've had a pretty solid stride going so far in terms of enthusiast cars. The Raptor (1st and 2nd gen) are huge hits, the GT350 is super cool, recent Mustangs seem to have been really solid cars, Focus/Fiesta ST's were huge hits in the enthusiast community (sad to see them go...), Focus RS was cool, GT500 look wild, etc. etc.

Apparently the new US spec ranger isnt the same as the ranger everywhere else. ARB had to modify thier stuff now to work on both specs
