    @JKO1998 They also had panther crossing signs along the highway. Finally decided to grab a picture of the next one we came to, and not another one all the way across alligator alley in south Florida.

    He went out and bought a BRZ, he attributed the bad engine design to the stress from the turbo. I guess any NA or family oriented Subaru would be fine.

    The FA20 in the BRZ/frs has an ongoing recall for valve train issues and high pressure fuel delivery issues

    I wouldn’t want to own one out of warranty. The BRZ/FRS/86 is the quintessential teenager car, always liked the look of them.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Yeah it's a complete drivetrain turd, but the engine bay does have good room for swaps at least. Can't imagine buying a car I know is slow and then also being trapped by the weak engine design.

    We were trying to find a place to install that police siren I impulse bought one day, but couldn't find a good spot for the siren unless we took the bumper off.

    Always surprised me how much room the Tacoma engine bay has. But the FRS is a sports car so I really can't compare.
