    Nothing like waiting till the last minute lol. I once didn't get mine done until 10pm the night of the deadline and had to drive to the only post office in downtown LA that was staying open till midnight for people at the last minute. Sucked

    Now I just pay a few hundred bucks to have an accountant do all the work for me, worth it

    I had it done about a week ago, but my tax guy made a huge mistake. He read the payments I made to myself (PayPal transfer) as money lost, so in the end my gross income ended up being negative. Spent all night going through my ledger and making a detailed breakdown on Excel, have to go give it to him.

    I’m a dependent under my parents so it’s covered. The business however I will be getting a different accountant once I finish up the corporation paperwork.

    I’m a registered sole proprietorship in the state now for the meantime, so that’s cool.

    I think I’m the first person in history to be upset not to pay any tax.

    You'll be longing for these days in the future trust me. Enjoy it while you can

    90% of my taxes are super easy because my primary income is my full time employment job but the other 10% is freelance where I have to hire assistants and send them 1099s which I don't want to mess with at all, so I just have the accountant handle it all.

    Just wish he could work more accountant magic and get me to owe less
