The airbox I have has a broken off fender vent. Thinking of making one with PVC, sealing it in with epoxy and painting the whole thing black again. Worth the effort or should I just buy a new Dorman one.

 

The fender vent is weird, if you have the fender liner in it can't be straight. I'd just buy a use one from someone with fiberglass fenders or something. Or someone with a snorkel

 

I don't think there is a plastic liner? There is a hole in the metal fender?

Imagine you are standing infront of the engine, to the left of you is the airbox, that whole assembly from airbox into to engine bay, into the fender simply does not exist for me. The airbox currently is just pulling air from the engine bay.

GF is pissed cause we just got hit with fraud. $50 tried to be stolen from us and my bank locked everything down like fort Knox. I explained what happened to my GF and she throws her asian voice at me. Screaming what sounded like a mongolian war curse. All I got out of it was "fucking cunts" I haven't heard her that mad in 5 years.
