I've had both on other rigs. For what I do and my driving style Billies are a better ride.

Yeah, the 620# Eibachs give a solid 3" but they ride like total shit without weight. I wish someone made a 550# spring. Looks like the 882's have the same spring rate as the 881's but have a 20mm taller free height. So about 3/4 more lift when installed assuming all other things being equal. I might give Dobinson a call tomorrow and ask if they have a 550 option.

Really? I've never had an issue bleeding brakes. I use the bottle and tubing via the one man brake bleeding method.

I guess I've gotten lucky. I've done a few brake jobs on different cars and I've never had an issue with the one man method.

    :notsure:

It's one of the easier things to work on, when they cooperate.

Hope that doesn't jinx me, haha. I have to do the brakes on the E320 when I have the time.

Its the stupid 4 piston calipers that I hate. 1022181544.jpg
Stupid thing came out all the way and wouldnt go back in without considerable force via 2 c-clamps. I think it got cocked sideways a bit. One I got it all together, that caliper would chirp anytime I hit the pedal, even while stopped. Stopped after a few thousand miles.

You have to open the bleeder valve so you're not fighting the hydraulic system.

I use one of those wood clamps, sometimes even without the bleeder valve open.

    Stange...

I'm the opposite I don't like those single piston calipers. Way easier to do pads IMO on the two piston or four piston.

Youre supposed to be able to change brakes without needing to bleed the system. Maybe suck some extra fluid out of the master but thats it. Atleast the 2 piston calipers have tools available for relatively cheap compared to the 4 pistons.

I was really confused the first time I did the Tacoma brakes and the single piston tool wouldn't work.

Yup. Gotta do each one with channel locks real slow. Go too fast and you get what I had happen.
