Yeah, I miss that green truck, I would have kept that if I hadn't rolled it. No matter how uncomfortable it was special to me.

yeah, i'll remind you of that a few months from now when we're sitting close to 110 at 1130 in the morning on a Tuesday and you're on your 15th call for AC or fridges going out.

I out-drove my sight and didn't see a corner (that dropped off the side of a hill into trees) so I slammed on my brakes a bit too late and at too high of a speed for it to end well. Back end came around... this is where it gets a bit fuzzy for me and we all sorta had to put the pieces together afterward. According to Monte when the truck went sideways I ended up driving up the other side of the road (which was a tall berm) and that unevenness, me sliding sideways still, and maybe 45mph of inertia combined to start the rollover. I don't so much remember how the rollover initiated as my brain was overloaded doing everything it could to regain control of the situation and maintain pressure to my sphincter. But once it started and I felt the truck start to go over perfectly onto the drivers side I resigned myself to what was happening and remembered to keep my arm inside the window and pushed my knees outward to hold my body sort out of the way of things that might crush me. I bounced on the drivers slider, drivers roof, passenger roof, and flopped back onto tires. Completely unharmed and with my rear window having popped out and landed perfectly flat on the trail I radioed to the guys and said I rolled, not because I was worried about myself so much, but because they were still going fast and I didn't want them to hit me.
