It's an asian thing, well Japanese really & Tyler is not really asian. :p

Kois bring good luck & good fortune..... if you believe. I wish I had a koi pond. My buddy had a koi pond, the damn raccoons killed em all. Kois are unbelievably expensive!

Koi are carp. Carp are the trash compactors of the lake. Dunno why they would bring any luck. Maybe a tapeworm if you ate one :notsure:.

We have six, I forget the species of them all but I know one of them is called a Chagoi. There’s a local pond store where we get them from.

Koi are stupid expensive. I value each one at around $300-400 each with the size they are going off what they cost to buy at a wholesaler.

Are you asking what can be bought from that for a 4x4 swap? I would ask if you can buy the entire front chunk of the frame so you don’t have to remove everything. You’ll need the steering knuckles, and the differential.

I value that at around $600-$800. Manual Hub knuckles go for around $400, the differential for another $200, and that manual hub jackshaft and mounting cushion for another $200.

Those would be eaten by a hawk within hours of getting them in my area. Lots of hawks near me for some reason.

I live in front of a nature reserve, probably 2 miles from the San Francisco Bay. Lots of predatory birds out here but we’ve never had an issue. The pond is plenty deep so they can hide.

We’re on marshland basically so no gophers, raccoons, anything like that. I rarely see Squirrels.
