    Longer shackles aren't particularly great for the leafs, they alter the geometry and stress the leafs more at droop and can cause them to search faster on compression. Only reason you put longer shackles is a cheap way to correct hanger position or add lift. But it doesn't really help anything.

    Yeah thats what all the cool LT guys with deaver 62” do but they also have bed cages and 16”+ shocks

    That energy suspension formula 5 grease is supposed to be one of the best. I used that on my spring/shackle bushings and greased the shackles with it. Messy as :censored: but if it prevents squeaks, no problem.

    Anyone know what the max tire size the under bed spare holder can accommodate?

    33s are pushing it but should fit if you chop the curves off the bar under there

    alot still need done
    it is now the thing i need to look at is the bumpstops part. i can hopefully keep my lower shock mounts i welded in all ready and use the pipe method like you did. if not oh well get longer ones. but that should be easy compress the main leaf and measure before the shock bottoms out and there we go. and add some buffer space for the shocks for like you said extra compresion from the bumpstops.
