What'd it end up being? Or still tracking it down?

It’s pretty similar to a Previa, which was the successor to the Vanwagon.

Was that the actual model name? Vanwagon? Very 80s Japanese sounding if so

Still tracking it down. I have what sounds like a chain dragging or rattling on the passenger side under the truck when I take turns to the right at speeds over ~10mph. Can't figure it out for the life of me

So turns to right and on passenger side, so that's when the weight lifts a little on pass side. From outside or inside can you tell? Like a metallic rattle?

Toyota just called it the Van (although internationally it’s called the Hiace, Lightace, and Townace) however in US literature I’ve seen it called the Van, Vanwagon, Wonderwagon, etc.

It’s similar to how the Hilux is just called the Pickup here.

Exactly what I was thinking about the 'pickup' lol that's what it reminded me of. And Nissan called the pickup before the Frontier, the 'hardbody' lmao

Yep metallic when the weight leans to the passenger side. Its not a grinding more of a higher pitched chain dragging on the ground type sound. Nothing is dragging under the truck though and nothing in the bed that could be making the noise. It's weird and been doing it for a long time but finally trying to pinpoint it.

Could be I'll check it out, I think it's related though but if I hit a speed bump it sounds like a chain banging on something so I think the two are connected whatever it is. Something loose somewhere

That's like your opinion man. Science has proven otherwise (when I was little I liked those funky rear quarter windows on the extra cab model, I was amazed the window could round the corner above and be part of the roof lolol, windows are usually just pretty flat and I was little)

I just hate the front end, it’s so static and bleh. But that’s just me.
