True, it came in rwd cars. But idk what trans that can mate with a tcase would work.

A Toyota pushrod 4 banger... Honestly @Sperrunner. Your version should make roughly 105hp. Just make sure it's healthy, it probably needs a valve adjustment and new plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor, as well as an injector cleaning and fuel filter. That alone should make it a lot happier. You could consider a bit of boost and an aftermarket ECU later on, but retrofitting any other drive train into this is a losing subject.

 

Crappy spotwelds that hold one on the wheels onto his chair broke off. I offered to weld it back, and I did. It broke after he sat on it for the first time.

To be fair to me, I didn’t have the seat portion only the base. I couldn’t test if it could hold weight.

 

My welding isn’t that bad. I’d show you a picture of the seat rails I did but they’re inside the Honda right now.

This was difficult because it was thin sheet metal onto a concave surface.

This trick works better when the pulley doesn't look obviously aftermarket with it's belt ripper treads and breather holes...

Yeah I might be going that route this year...have to get the stricter STAR test done this time and I don't know if I'll be able to sneak by with the 7th injector. And I've heard if you fail a smog test and then try to go the underground cash route, they won't deal with you because you're more of a liability. So I think I'll just go that route from the get go.
