You’d think that in the San Fran area sliders would be nice for the door ding protection at the least. I’ve used my sliders several times now on the trail, in addition to the parking lot. Kinda funny to watch people put a .875” radius bend in their door. :D

Ill tell you whats fugly. The interior. Its ALL black. Like headliner, all plastic trim, visors, everything is black. The only different color in there is this weird orange trim around the radio. Dunno if thats a southeastern toyota only thing or not.

I've done a mod or two
Shouldn't you be installing a supercharger so you can move an old lady's book case or something

That’s where the lift, and the up angle on the sliders comes in handy

However I want a 1st gen double cab to put the current lift and axels under, so that I can sas the black truck and run big boy tires.

Mine are angled up and the bottom edge of the door barely clears them. On the passenger side if I'm flexed out right the door hits the slider if you open it lol

    Having a lift doesn't do much against a lifted full-size on 37s+

Yeah my sliders only protect me from dings if they offender's door happens to hit the kickout part...otherwise my sliders are tucked close enough to the truck where a car's door will still hit mine, especially because our truck's bodies kind of "round outward" above the sliders.

True, that’s why I need the sas and big boy tires 37” ish +/-

That’s why I left my frame to slider tubes long. Preventing horizontal attacks from trees, rocks, and doors.

It really depends on the car thats next to you, too. Like you said any car that's higher is going to miss the sliders and hit your door.

But even on smaller cars the center of their door sticks out farther than the bottom does, and the center can still in a lot of cases make contact with the center of my trucks body
