Vatozone sells two little ramps that you drive the front end up on and elevates the front of the vehicle...they're awesome for doing front end work on cars. Use those to change the oil on my wife's Accord

You can’t even fit a doorstop under that truck.

I would hope he's got airbags in that thing otherwise there's no way he could even go over a speed bump

    3” lift. Sway a ways 2.5 on 285 75 16 and much more
Picked up a 5 speed transmission for my truck. It won’t be a while until I do the swap but had a quick question. When shifting the gears all seem to have a similar sound but when shifting in reverse there is a louder sound/noice. Tried to get it on video not sure how well it catches it. Here is a link to the video:

Anyone know if this is normal?

scary story - I'll never trust those ramps again. put a car on those and was underneath it when the weight started to shift and I swear I saw that thing start to sag. Got the hell out of there faster than I have ever moved. After that, it was jack and jackstands. Never again. NO.

    you sir are brave!

Yikes.. I mean her Accord doesn't weigh all that much compared to a truck but now I'm going to be nervous using them lol.

I'm actually more afraid of using a floor jack on our driveway...few months ago I used it on my truck and the wheels of the floor jack actually sank 2 inches into the concrete. We have a really old driveway...

yeah it wasn't the truck - it was my first car, 67 firebird. just out of high school thinking I was the bad ass mechanic going to drive it up on those ramps and change the oil. pfft. scared the piss out of me. hell, senior year in high school one of the other seniors lost her father when the car he was working on crushed him. wasn't using jack stands just the factory scissor jack. horrible. probably why i was so damn freaked out when those ramps tweaked.

I've had my floor jack shift a bit while jacking up the tacoma - actually did crunch up the concrete just a little - that did surprise me. Sinking another story - no thanks!

Bonus Fact: The 'E' in GE, the popular electronic and mechanical supply company, in facts stands for "Electric".

Reverse will sound differant because its a non synchronized gear. You may have to turn input shaft a little for reverse to go all the way in. Sounds okay to me. As long as reverse goes all the way in.

Oh hell! A boat is a big hole in the water you throw money into. Add some hoes, you better be a baller with a big bank account with income.
