Yeah but when you gotta use your truck for tuck things and bring the dog then in the vab he goes. But yeah i have a camper and i leave blankets and a dog bed and hella toys in the bed. For my dog. If it gets to hot i just open the back glass but when its to hot in the can he goes i got a husky so he doesn’t tolerate the geat that well

I’m going to school half an hour away, I’ll come home on the weekends to work on the truck or do whatever.

I can totally commute if I wanted to, but during Bay Area rush hour 30 minutes turns into two hours at a moment’s notice.

Thatsvwhy you gotta find a school thats in the opposite direction as traffic. I went to school in fairfeild and in the morning traffic was leaving fron there and on my way home traffic was coming the other way. It was great no having to deal with traffic

Ok yeah that would be nice. At least you can still bum the couch on the weekends. Some days I like community college cause its like high school where you come home/work everyday but you make your own schedule. Other days I wish I was at least 2 hours away from home and didnt have to work. But no work=no truck for me

I’m going to San Francisco State, which is deep into the city and traffic about all times of the day.

Man living in that city is expensive.

Just got word that my Land Cruiser parts are on the way finally. Every radiator hose (3 in an 80), every coolant bypass hose (fuckload due to rear heater and insta-hot interior heat system) new plug wires, resistor to make the drivers window auto down and up. Oh and a dealio to steal my own wheels (lost my wheel lock key)

Well at least you get a tent, he should start shelling out for fuel when your new hardshell gets in.

For comparison, that air compressor is 5 feet tall.

She goes absolutely nuts about her frisbee and big ball and will play all day long if you let her. What’s nice about her though is that as soon as you sit down to relax she will come up and sit with you and relax. She is totally in tune with how me and the fiancé are acting so that’s pretty nice. Sometimes she is a bit needy/whiny but I think that’s because I spend so much time with her and she is used to the attention. The only time she has ever been destructive is when she is in her kennel for to long. Such a easy dog to train though, she is probably smarter then I am haha. She can sit, lay down, stay, shake, high five, rollover, fetch, go hunt, look out, and get out of the kitchen all with mostly hand signals. I wish all the women in my house behaved as well as her haha.

I like the city life. I spent a lot of my life in Oakland, San Francisco, and Manhattan. Wide open spaces make me depressed. I know that’s a very unpopular stance here on TW, but I’ve grown up around big cities my whole life and I wouldn’t want to live my life in farmland or a place not central to anything.

Plus I didn’t get accepted into any UC in the state except UC Merced, which is surprise surprise, in the middle of nowhere.

It’s hard to get into a good school in this state. Too many people and not enough colleges. Plus the UC’s are getting more international students over California residents since international students pay twice as much.

I also made the mistake of applying as a very impacted and competitive major. If I applied for like gender studies instead of computer engineering and switched majors after general ed I would’ve gotten into a lot more schools.

    It’s an internally flawed system.
