Oh I finally convinced a friend of mine to give Harbor Freight a try this morning, he's always been on the " you get what you pay for" train and never even stepped foot into one.

He bought a paint spray gun and got home and went to use it, and the fucking thing didn't work haha. Now he really hates HF.

 

There’s this great new thing called “returns” haha

 

He returned it of course, it's just now his contempt toward HF is justified

 

You spend $20 on a paint gun, what do ya expect haha.

 

The weird part is, their HVLP guns are usually good shit

 

I don't remember which one it was but I think it was an electric one that cost a bit more than that, he went to Home Depot and got a $300 one this afternoon and is happy now.

Anyway I think I have him convinced HF is still good for some shit like gloves, tarps, tape, lighting, etc. Just not power tools lol.

 

Most 3m respirators will fit under most any welding hood. Sometimes you gotta weld on that crap.

 

Just caught my first rock chuck for city, set the trap 5 minutes ago and watched the stupid bitch run into it

Also another reason not to weld on that stuff is that the splatter is unreal. It blows off in huge blobs that seem to gravitate to your kneecaps/arms. All my welding scars/blisters are from welding galvanized castors and wheel assemblies to my projects.

 

I own a lot of harbor freight tools, the only one I’ve broken is their cheap disposable plastic wire brushes.
