Didn't notice any difference unless I point the snorkel head toward the cab with the window down. Otherwise it really just sounds the same to me

 

@BartMaster1234 the advantage of running a snorkel with the supercharger is cooler intake temps...I keep a somewhat close eye on mine via my Torque app and overall they've been at least 10 degrees cooler than they were with the stock intake. Not a huge difference but every little bit helps with these blowers.

Although once you get that meth kit installed that'll make a much bigger difference as far as that goes.

 

What’s your experience with that Chinese eBay snorkel?

 

Every 10 degrees is roughly 5% of HP it all adds up

 

So -10 degrees is what to horsepower

You can run the 3.0l transmission and passenger drop case on a 3.4l with some work. OTOH you have to use the 3.0l flywheel, clutch but it's been done in just about every 3.4 swap into the older 4runner/pickups
