Oh okay I was going to pick one up and I seen that drilling is required. Figured I’d ask you.

Actually I just looked it up, you're right you do need to drill 2 holes on each side.

Yeah you probably will in order to mount a t-case skid properly.

Unless you do a full belly pan instead, the belly pan I have covers the t-case and transmission. Mounts up near the back of the IFS skid and to a cross member in the rear that uses factory holes.

I've only run the belly pan a couple times, mostly I just run the t-case skid and my IFS skid which is enough coverage for 99% of the trails I do. The belly pan skid is heavy AF to have on all the time, and a pain to take on/off if you have to do maintenance under the truck.

I'm starting to think people might be over valuing these things. I know my Z31 will never be valued at more than 8k, at least not in the next 30 years. But how in the world is a 240, a car that originally sold for 3.5k and was restored, not original selling for 124k?

Is everyone on Bring a Trailer as dumb as I'm convinced they must be?

sweet, I was on a waiting list for that weekend welding class and just got registered. Figured it'll be a good way to get introduced to it hopefully.

At the very least it'll get me familiar with using my shitty flux core welder at home lol.

Only worth what someone is willing to pay I guess. :notsure:

Maybe someone should list their 1st gen for that much and see if there are any takers. :D

Tire store asked me at least 3 times if I was sure I wanted 255s for my truck.

    "Those aren't going to fit"

    "Yes they will"

"...but they're not for your truck"

    "I know, but they'll fit"

"We usually only sell these for trailers"

    "TAKE MY GODDAMN MONEY"
