yeah I've seen the sticker but remember, that sticker was made 15+ years ago and many other laws have gone into effect since then.

A big misconception with common laws though is that an infant MUST go in the backseat no matter what. Which isn't actually true, you can still put them in the front with the airbags off.

I've argued with a few people in other threads about this because many people think it's still illegal, but I've looked it up on the DMV and you can as long as you have an on/off airbag switch. Some people even get a switch installed on newer vehicles so that they can put their kids up front.

I mean the tacoma was designed to allow a seat up front because they knew it wouldn’t work in the back.

Unless some ext cab that have 3 seats in the rear so you can put the car seat in the center, on 1st gens it would be pretty awkward to do behind a seat. So they let you do it in the frknt

yeah, I was a little afraid at first because I responded to his comment with an LOL and thought that might get me the ban hammer too (they were banning everyone that said anything remotely off topic)....but I only did that because I know it's just Crow being Crow. Stirring up the 3rd gen pot as usual.

He's really pushing it though, he's going to get himself a perma if he keeps doing this shit lol

What's weird though is that my Xtra cab has an anchor for a car seat in the back....even though one would never fit back there unless you removed the front seat. I wonder if it was a federal regulation thing.
