The 3rd gen T4Rs had the same lbj issues, probably best to change them out for peace of mind

The real reason "I" went home early from Pismo that day was my humanoid's batteries was getting low.

You have no idea. A buddy of mine had the same thing happen on a trail we ran two weeks ago. We field welded him to get off trail. I went out for an easy cruise on a local trail yesterday and on the way down something felt way off in the steering. I got out to check and sure as shit there was one bolt holding the LBJ to the spindle. I ratchet strapped that shit together just to be able to move 40 yards to get off trail. I went to work this morning and then came home at 2. Pulled the spindle, backed out the sheared bolts and threw it back together. The spindle flange got bent from having the one bolt holding it in so I was only able to get 3 of 4 bolts. Since I needed a new spindle anyway I got the fourth home with a BFH and lots of loctite. lol

Nah, that didn't phase me. Well I'll admit, when I first saw it I was kinda sad (the pic you have shows it lol) but I've been through worse (not in my truck).

Really I'm just old, I didn't come prepared.

Nah but seriously, it was the cold, the arthritis in my back was killing me & I didn't feel like sleeping in the truck.

I didn't even bring a tent, I wasn't planning to stay the night originally, I was planning to leave at sun down. Then I changed my mind & was going to stay. Then it got cold. I tried drinking more to warm up when we were out on the night run but the beer wasn't even going down.

Damn you did a 1 day last time? It's like borderline not worth for me for a one day bit damn your drive is a lot longer!
