    Car Insurance for people under 25 is insanely expensive.

    It’s funny. You can go to war at 18, but can’t drink until 21 and can’t even rent a car without restriction until 25.

    I was in Anaheim for a conference two months ago, carless. My friends and I wanted to drive to downtown Los Angeles so I was calling around for a car rental place but all of them won’t rent people a car if you’re under 21, 25 with restrictions.

    BUT U-Haul doesn’t require you to be 25. Only 18. I was about to rent a U-Haul bobtail truck and shove all my friends in the back. But it was like $0.76 a mile, and I don’t know what the Valet at my hotel would think when I showed up with a moving truck.

    When i got in a accident and needed a rental i had to go through a huge think with the rental company and insurance company so i can drive a rental Because i was 18

    Well, day 2 at new job as a chassis tech at the port of Oakland. It's different , but kinda cool. Play my cards right I can get into bnsf' s shop doing the same work, but better pay.and I can't drive to my shop in my 1st gen. Gotta leave her in the pl.
