You don't need to clean all that off. Just clean the sealing surface for the pan.

I'm assuming that's from the bottom of the pan? Just clean the pan, magnets, and the gasket surfaces & put it back on. Nothing much else you can do or that is needed.

They come that way to pick the clutch and bearing shit out of the fluid. Just take em out, clean them and the pan and put em back

The magnets are supposed to be in there. Clean the pan out, wipe off the build up on the magnets. If you can't get it all off the magnet & feel you want it cleaner. Use compressed air & a rag for shielding to blow all the crap off the magnet. But like with an air compressor if you have, canned air is not strong enough.

I don't ship things that often but when I do, I practically laminate the box in multiple layers of packing tape if it's something heavy/bulky. Last time I used gaff tape from work which is pretty damn strong stuff.

Lol, I love gaff tape! I've never used it on shipping boxes though, I'm too cheap to waste in on boxes but that'll be good. :D

Even plain ol packing tape will puncture through but it does help. I always tape the glued seam of a box if it's a heavy package, they like to tear there.

Funny how USPS Priority boxes have a crazy weight limit on them, like 70 lbs or whatever but their boxes are no where near rated for that capacity. For heavy weight USPS boxes, one good method is to line the inside with additional cardboard. Heck, I've built mini crates to put inside USPS boxes for really heavy items.

And packing peanuts, I absolutely despise packing peanuts, I won't use them but they are good for light weight items. They work ok for heavier items but you really have to pack it tight with a lot of peanuts, like to the point where you can barely close the box. I prefer packing paper, stuff it so the item won't move. I like to close the box & shake it around to feel if anything moves before sealing it up. When an heavy item can move inside a box, that's when the package will get damaged from the contents. Yeah, some drivers throw packages but I don't necessarily always blame them, mistakes happen too. Need to package properly so it won't get damaged if dropped by accident.

Yeah when I shipped a pair of coilovers in a box that was when I used the gaff tape lol. And packed the voids inside with paper after wrapping the coilovers in bubble wrap. Probably added a few extra pounds in shipping cost but worth knowing they weren't going to fall out in transit

Don't let this distract you from the fact that Hector is gonna be running 3 Honda Civic's with spoon engines. On top of that he just came into Harry's and ordered 3 t66 turbo's with NOS's and a Motec System Exhaust.
