Most of the time I have my rear locked it's probably not necessary, but if I'm on a harder trail I'll keep it locked the majority of the time. I know some rarely use it only when needed but it's just the way I roll I guess lol.

I don’t use mine often. Mostly just when I’m chained up.

I don't like having them on when there isn't an obstacle. They make it much harder to maneuver, the rear wants to walk and plows the front end in corners and if the front is on forget turning all together. and on the LC if you lock all three its basically only good for going straight haha

Yeah I do turn it off if I'm cornering and what not. Learned the hard way that'll chew up my tires if I don't. I haven't done the grey wire mod so I only ever have it on in 4lo on crawling stuff.

But ya a front locker I would definitely only use if I absolutely needed it. Not to mention having IFS and not wanting to blow axles

This is true haha, lock it in second gear, lock all three lockers and I bet you could go through more than a few feet of the stuff... if you hit a couple tiny spots on the body for like 5 mins with a hammer you can fit 37s so might as well have those

Yea but you're in the snow and ice a lot, a locker can make things worse in those conditions if not used judiciously

Just a heads up - Rockauto has Champion oil filters for $1.04 each. Apparently, they wont ship to CA though.

WIX Filters are around $3 each

If I was brave enough to run chains on the front of my ifs truck it wouldn’t be a big deal, but I’m not sooo.
