Meh, I don’t think people can complain about heat unless they work in it everyday

 

My shops not cooled. So today it’s a miserable 100+ in here. And sticky and hot

 

So you work in it, go ahead and complain,


And get a swamp cooler

 

In AZ they figured out how to do heat right, every bay has two or three massive fans with misters mounted to it. The whole shop once you enter a bay door drops like a solid 20-25 degrees in temp. 80 degrees is nice

 

The only people lacking the right to complain are the dead

 

The humidity is what kills it here

 

you ever looked into a cool shirt. basically a shirt (and pants or underwear if you buy em) that has a bunch of tubes and has a cold water pumping through it

 

I could picture that getting ruined working on some things

 

I just don’t see having the right to complain when all you do is walk from your car to your cooked office building

 

Working on anything

 

Does anyone here do that? Most of us like to work on stuff and be outside, plus the fucking car cooks too and the AC even good AC takes up to an hour to catch up.

 

Looks pretty robust the way the liner is designed. Only thing you really have to keep track of are your tubes to the cooler, they aren't large though and they crush down so you can step on them

 

Half the people here are fridge repairmen, in ac houses so yes.

I suppose you're right, but if they don't complain about the heat they're gonna complain about the Utahn that's ragging on them even though his climate is mild.

 

Most machines where I work run on steam so I think Im allowed to complain lol.

 

What is this, the 1800s?! My college ran on steam basically, all the buildings were heated by a central steam plant. Made some neat noises

 

Steam is the easiest for heating. Most big buildings have boiler rooms to heat them.

 

I’ve worked in 100°+ degree so it’s fine

 

Corrugated paper is made with lots of heat and moisture. Steam is showered down onto the product for 14 hours a day. Really sucks when one of those corrugators breaks, cause yours truly gets to play a part in fixing it.
